Guidelines for Job event |

Shine.com, the job portal from the house of HT Media, is pleased to be associated
with the Indian Naval Placement Agency, offering its services to assist ex-Indian
Navy Personnel find placement opportunities with private sector companies.
|

2.

It is intended to jointly host Navy Specific job fair at Delhi (12 & 13 November
2011) and Mumbai (21 & 22 January 2012) to facilitate ex-Navy personnel
to find relevant jobs in the corporate sector along with a professional resume development
service at discounted rate.

3.

Eligibility.
All retired Navy personnel and widows / dependents are eligible
to attend the job fair. Sailors who are retiring in the period Nov 11 – Feb 12,
can participate in the job event; however, they have to be registered with INPA.
|

4.
|
Participation Fee.
A token fee of Rs 300/- per candidate, in cash, will
be charged at the venue at the time of registration for participating in the job
fair.
|
|
5.
|
Resume Development Service.
An optional service of getting resume developed by experts
of Shine.com has been arranged. They have stated that all personnel who get
their resume developed by Shine.com will be given priority by the employer
at the Job Fair. Development of Resume can be applied through INPA website in advance
and will also be available at the venue during the Job Fair at a discounted price
of Rs. 1296/-.

Why Resume Development
is essential . It has been observed that retired
Navy personnel, after having spent 15+ / 20+ years in the Navy, acquire experience,
expertise and skills, which needs to be tabulated in the format which the HR in
the Corporate is seeking. Hence, Resume development is indeed an important and essential
tool to project your skills and experience in the correct corporate format.

Refreshment
. Tea/ Coffee and Water will be provided at the venue free of
cost. Snacks/ lunch will be available at the venue on payment.

All personnel attending the job fair are requested to bring the following:-

Job fair will commence at 0930 hrs and ends at 1600 hrs on both days.
